Hi, I'm Mitch. I'm a New York-based documentary filmmaker, speaker and specializing in stories about immigrants and Peru, including the new Return to the Andes and it's prequel, Soy Andina.
I also consult with other producers who are struggling with their fundraising, distribution and marketing.
In between the Andina films, I produced New American Girls, a web series about (Dreamers) undocumented immigrants for Latino Public Broadcasting and PBS.org, and returned to Peru as a Fulbright Specialist.
I also wear another hat — as a marketing/PR expert for media and non-profits, including six years as marketing director for the Film Society of Lincoln Center, and more recently as PR Director for The Language Conservancy, helping bring attention to Native American endangered languages.
